Making a Donation to PCQ
Pallitive Care Queensland is only partially funded by the Queensland Government, and as a result, we rely heavily on the generosity of the public to ensure that we have the capacity to act as a strong advocate for terminally ill individuals and the clinicians and organisations who care for them. Charitable donations are used by Palliative Care Queensland to implement it’s strategic objectives, ensuring that all Queenslanders affected by terminal illnes have access to the best possible care.
Palliative Care Queensland is a registered charity and as such, donations are tax deductable. Donations can be made by cash, credit card, cheque, postal order or direct transfer. If you would like to make a donation to Palliative Care Queensland, please contact John-Paul Kristensen, Chief Executive Manager on j.kristensen@palliativecareqld.org.au , (07) 3633 0096 or 0408 924 767.
Making a Bequest
Bequests are another way of helping Palliative Care Queensland to ensure that all Queenslanders have access to quality care at the end of their lives. To make a bequest to Palliative Care Queensland, you must first ensure that you have a current will. Once you have a will, it is important that you discuss your decision with an independent solicitor or with a consultant at the office of the Public Trustee. Palliative Care Queensland can provide wording that can be used in your will to assist in the bequest process. For more information about making a bequest to PCQ, please contact John-Paul Kristensen, Chief Executive Officer on j.kristensen@palliativecareqld.org.au , (07) 3633 0096 or 0408 924 767.
