PCQ’s Role

PCQ’s principal roles are as follows:

To improve the general public’s awareness and understanding of palliative care;
To support the professionals and volunteers who provide palliative and end-of-life care;
To provide health professional education;
To develop and distribute palliative care specific resources;
To provide information and support to Queenslanders affected by terminal illnesses, and
To provide support and professional representation to Palliative Care Queensland members.
